Job summary

Copeland is a global climate technologies company focused on sustainability through HVACR technologies. We seek an engineer to provide technical support for our product portfolio across Colombia and Venezuela, including product selection, application profiling, and training.

You will collaborate with Product Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality, and Sales to support customers and drive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering.
• 2–5 years in application/product engineering of AC and/or Refrigeration.
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting to customers and senior leadership.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits.
• Understanding of quality metrics.
• Ability to handle measuring and adjusting tools.
• Customer focus.
• Spanish and English proficiency.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Copeland product portfolio to customers in Colombia and Venezuela.

• Warranty administration and sample coordination.
• Customer training at designated locations.
• Development of cross references or documentation to support commercial initiatives.
• Production line support for pilot runs.
• Field support and troubleshooting.
• Liaise between end users and OEMs to identify opportunities for Copeland products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer support.
• Represent Copeland at industry forums and conferences.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Support for the full Copeland product portfolio (compressors, controls and accessories) to customers in Colombia and Venezuela including but not limited to:
• Product selection
• Development of application profiles and technical bulletins
• Warranty Administration
• Sample Coordination
• Customer training at designated locations
• Development of cross references or specific documentation that can support commercial initiatives
• Production Line Support for pilot runs
• Field support and troubleshooting
• Be a liaison between end users and OEMs to identify opportunities in which Copeland products can be specified
• Proactively interact with cross functional teams including Product Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality and Sales through designated tasks to enhance our customer support
• Represent Copeland at industry forums and conferences

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related engineering
• Desired 2-5 years in application/product engineering of AC and/or Refrigeration
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to successfully present to customers (including large groups) and senior leadership
• Ability to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits
• Understanding of quality metrics
• Ability to handle measuring and adjusting tools
• Customer focus.
• Spanish and English proficency
• Travel requirements: Up to 25%
