This role collaborates closely with customers, sales teams, and product development to assess requirements, design solutions, and provide technical support. The position extends beyond conventional engineering by communicating and translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms for diverse audiences.**Essential Duties:*** Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and technical requirements for RF and data communications.* Provide technical expertise and support during pre-sales and post-sales activities, including design and accurate cost estimating.* Develop and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical proposals to prospective and existing customers.* Customize and configure products to meet customer specifications.* Conduct product testing and validation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.* Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions and support to customers.* Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, advocating for customer needs and providing feedback for product improvement.* Stay up to date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance product offerings.* Assist in the development of technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.These are the general duties required to fulfill the Applications Engineer role and are not intended to be a comprehensive list of all responsibilities.
