Overview

Investment Banking and Corporate Banking (IBCB) is comprised of diverse, talented professionals located in multiple regions globally. What you’ll be doing

• Build applications for our bankers as a hands‑on technical role, demonstrating sound engineering principles across the SDLC and a good understanding of modern CI/CD toolsets.
• Advocate and advance modern software development practices, including privacy and security first principles; incorporate DevSecOps and SRE best practices to help engineering teams navigate complex security and risk requirements.
• Ensure the team delivers great solutions that users love by maintaining a culture of quality and engineering excellence.
• Suggest improvements to software architecture, development processes, and new technologies.
• Communicate with both the client and project teams, clarifying client needs, presenting technical ideas, and explaining progress on development efforts.
• Explore existing applications, determine areas of complexity and potential risks to successful implementation.

Who you are

• You are a senior Full Stack engineer with a passion for building modern web applications and a user‑centric approach to solution design.
• You have solid experience in an agile development environment.
• You have an in‑depth knowledge of JavaScript and its idiosyncrasies, a clear understanding of functional programming paradigms, and expertise in frontend technologies such as Angular.
• You have expertise in middleware technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, NoSQL databases, and Kafka.
• You have extensive experience testing user interfaces.
• You enjoy collaborating on scalable systems, embracing new technologies, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
• You take ownership of success—responsibility for the successful delivery of solutions, mentoring other developers, and organizing review activities such as design reviews, code reviews, and technical document reviews.
• You can operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Experience

Minimum: 6+ years of relevant experience in Full Stack Development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
