Job summary

Citi in New York, NY, seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst, AVP, to design, develop and evolve the Prime Sequel Platform within the Prime Finance P&L allocation engine. You will drive scalable solutions and work with global teams to optimize performance and risk controls.

You will mentor engineers, ensure adherence to best practices, and deliver robust software across the full SDLC in a banking technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications, with a proven track record of implementing successful projects.
• Strong proficiency in Java application technologies, including deep experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development), Spring framework, and Microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding and experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Experience with job scheduling.
• Working knowledge of project management techniques and methods, with a focus on agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable application systems for the Prime Sequel Platform with alignment to technology initiatives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analyze complex challenges, and propose solutions to enhance system functionality and processes.
