Citibank N.A. seeks an Applications Development Group Manager for its Irving, TX location.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement robust backend systems using Java and JEE.
2. Develop and deploy RESTful APIs and web services.
3. Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through effective code optimization and system architecture.
4. Work with Java frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
5. Manage application servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
7. Utilize tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Docker for CI/CD.
8. Apply best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
9. Implement Kafka for real-time data processing.
10. Work with databases like Oracle, MongoDB, HBase, Hive, DynamoDB, and Teradata.
11. Utilize EBX for master data management and governance.
12. Develop ETL processes using Ab Initio.
13. Deploy applications on cloud platforms like OpenShift and PCF.
14. Create user interfaces with jQuery, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
15. Secure APIs using API Gateway.
16. Work within a telecommuting/hybrid schedule as permitted.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
2. 7+ years experience in backend systems design and implementation.
3. Experience with real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
4. Experience with data governance and EBX integration.
5. Proficiency in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud security.
6. Strong database skills including relational and NoSQL databases.
7. Experience with GraphQL API development.
