Job summary

Solutions³ LLC seeks an Applications Developer II to support a U.S. Government customer, building and maintaining software that secures on-prem and cloud-based tools.

You will design, troubleshoot, and implement code for end-to-end development and service integrations, with a focus on RESTful APIs and secure software practices. Qualifications include a BS in CS/Engineering or 4–6+ years of relevant experience, active US SECRET clearance with ability to TS/SCI, and strong Python and AWS

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and implement software code for end-to-end development and service integrations.
• Design, develop, enhance, debugs, and implement software stacks for on-premise and cloud-based tools.
• Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications and pipeline workflows.
• Research, test, build, and coordinate integration of new products based on requirements.
• Initiate evaluation and recommendation of software packages and testing tools.
• Resolve problems with software and respond to improvement suggestions.
• Design, develop, integrate, and interface with web application RESTful APIs.
• Improve documentation and development process standards.
• Ensure quality control of all developed software.

Title: Applications Developer II

Solutions³ LLC is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. Solutions³ LLC is seeking an Applications Developer to support this critical customer mission.

Eligibility:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an active SECRET clearance, with the ability to get TS/SCI
• Must be able to obtainDHS Suitabilityprior to starting employment
• 2+ years of experience in applications development

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, troubleshooting, and implementing software code for end-to-end software development and service integrations
• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, integrates, and implements software stacks for on premise and cloud-based tools and services
• Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications and pipeline workflows
• Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the integration of new products based on user and mission requirements
• Initiates action for evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Design, develop, integrate, and interface with web application RESTful APIs
• Implements recommendations for improving documentation and development process standards
• Ensures quality control of all developed and modified prototype software
• Design, develop, integrate, and interface with web application RESTful APIs

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and code versioning and maintenance
• Experience with assessing and integrating commercial off the shelf (COTS) products
• Knowledge and familiarity to work with the installation, demonstration, test, validation and evaluation of new and existing software, tools, methods, and software measurement technologies
• Operational experience with Python
• Experience working with AWS resources such as S3, SQS, Lambda, Glue, and Route 53
• Knowledge of software application development and RESTful architecture
• Knowledge of data transformation and manipulation via code
• Experience working and developing in/with containerization software including Kubernetes and Docker
• Must have strong communication skills and have experience interacting with customers directly in a project environment or technical demonstration
• Must be able to work collaboratively across remote and physical locations

Desired Skills

• Experience with two or more of the following: JSON, Data Analytics, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Databricks, Postgress, Ansible, Vue.js, React, HTML, Podman, Process Automation, UI Development, CI/CD knowledge
• Familiarity with data transformation (ETL)

• CSSLP, Sec+

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree; or High School diploma and 4-6+ years of directly relevant experience
