Job summary

Armison Tech seeks a qualified Applications Developer for on-site work in Herndon, VA. You will support web design, development, testing, and troubleshooting for medium to high complexity projects.

The role requires active TS/SCI with a polygraph and will involve working across 8 newly developing systems and 28 legacy systems, delivering front- and back-end architecture and integrations.

Applications Developer

Location: Herndon, VA (on-site client environment)

Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

As an Applications Developer you will support and lead web design, development, production, testing, and troubleshooting projects of medium to high complexity. You will perform mission-critical work across 8 separate newly developing systems, and be part of a larger program that maintains and performs O&M on 28 current systems. You will assist your team in providing full software buildouts to include front and back-end systems, as well as sub-system components.

Desired Qualifications:

• Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with development languages such as Maven, Java, NodeJS, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Yaml, XML, XSL, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery, SQL, and Python.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing JavaScript (JS), and working with others on the team utilizing primarily JavaScript.
• Experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling, or improving stability and performance applications.
• Demonstrated experience applying usability and accessibility standards, user research, and user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience performing regression and Unit Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience developing software in a low-code or no-code environment.
• Experience working with key stakeholders to define requirements and expectations for new software applications.
