Job summary

Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania in Harrisburg is seeking an experienced .NET developer to support and improve production systems in a modern Microsoft environment. You own the full lifecycle from requirements through deployment, working directly with business users without dedicated BAs.

Day-to-day work includes resolving production issues, delivering sprint-based enhancements, and contributing to modernization efforts such as framework upgrades and server migrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on application development experience with C#.NET and SQL Server.
• Experience supporting production applications.
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders.
• SSRS/SSIS and debugging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and implement enhancements from a sprint backlog.
• Gather requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy changes.
• Own full lifecycle of applications in a modern Microsoft environment.
• Contribute to modernization efforts such as framework upgrades and server migrations.

Role Overview
This role supports and enhances mission-critical business applications in a modern Microsoft environment, with a primary focus on production support and application enhancements rather than greenfield development. Developers own the full lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, working directly with business users without dedicated Business Analysts. Day-to-day work includes resolving production issues, delivering enhancements from a sprint-based backlog, and contributing to broader modernization efforts such as framework upgrades and server migrations, with occasional involvement in new initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on application development experience using C#.net and SQL Server and ideally Git
• Experience supporting production applications
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders
• SSRS, SSIS, unit testing and de-bugging experience are highly preferred
