Ogletree Deakins is seeking an Applications Analyst to support the full systems life cycle for enterprise business systems, including document management, financials, and CRM. The role involves maintenance, upgrades, patching, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring, with occasional project management and vendor coordination.
The Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with iManage tools, and the ability to train staff and write technical reports.
The Applications Analyst is responsible for assisting in supporting the full systems life cycle for the enterprise business systems of the Firm (e.g. the Firm’s document management system, financial systems, CRM). Analysts will provide application maintenance and support to minimize service disruption and facilitate operations. Activities include, but are not limited to involvement with systems installation, integration, maintenance, upgrades, patch installation, configuration, troubleshooting and diagnosing root cause for problems, performance monitoring, and maintenance of SQL scripts and stored procedures. Additional duties include working with related process stakeholders to identify and resolve related problems and issues as well as realize efficiencies as a result of process and systems improvements. This position will also serve the role of project manager for some related activities. Candidates must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as Application Analysts work closely with business systems support analysts and other specialists, and occasionally train new employees and write technical reports. Additional experience with related iManage products, such as iManage Threat Manager, iManage Records Manager, GDSI, RBRO or Litera iManage tools, or other related software is a plus. This position will participate in these tasks with limited supervision and direct execution, as well as through coordinating, overseeing, and delegating to Technology department resources as well as external vendors, service providers, contractors, and consultants.
