Job summary

The U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona in Phoenix is seeking two Applications Administrators to join its Information Technology support division.

You will provide technical support and administer mission-critical applications serving the Clerk’s Office, including chambers staff and the Probation and Pretrial Services Office across the district. Responsibilities include application and database administration, security vulnerability mitigation, troubleshooting and user support, and

Qualifications

• Experience in managing application and database administration and maintenance.
• Ability to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining custom web-based applications and reports.

Responsibilities

Overview of the Position The U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona is seeking two Applications Administrators to join its consolidated Information Technology support division. Reporting to the Systems Technology Division Manager, the Applications Administrator provides technical support and administration for mission-critical applications serving the Clerk’s Office, including chambers staff, and the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office throughout the District.The position supports a diverse portfolio of applications, including locally developed custom applications, national Judiciary applications such as CM/ECF, JMS, and PACTS, applications developed by other federal courts, and commercially available software solutions. Responsibilities include application and database administration and maintenance, security vulnerability mitigation, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, developing and implementing custom web-based applications, and creating and maintaining custom reports.The Applications Administrator works closely with users, technical staff, application vendors, and other Judiciary and federal court personnel to ensure applications are secure, reliable, available, and effectively support the Court’s business operations. The position requires the ability to analyze complex technical issues, develop practical solutions, manage multiple priorities, and provide responsive customer service in a mission-driven environment.
