Job summary

Triol Corporation is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join its Midland, TX representative office. You will serve as a core technical expert for low and medium-voltage VFDs and submersible pump control systems, combining field testing, component repair, and site commissioning with remote technical assistance.

You will also prepare engineered proposals and lead training sessions for client teams, while performing root-cause analyses and maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years configuring, repairing, and troubleshooting VFD/VSD systems and power electronics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, megohmmeters.
• Ability to draft technical proposals and explain engineering concepts to client teams.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid US driver’s license and active passport.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 30%.
• Prior experience with Triol VFD equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting via phone, email, and ticket systems.
• Troubleshoot, replace components, rewrite drive parameters, and conduct full functional testing on VFD units.
• Lead on-site commissioning, startup, and trial operations at customer facilities.
• Prepare technical proposals and customized drive configurations based on site requirements.
• Conduct technical training and equipment orientation sessions for customer engineers and operators.
• Perform root-cause failure analysis with internal teams for corrective actions.
• Log daily service activities in CRM (Bitrix24).

You will combine physical drive testing, component repair, and site commissioning with direct customer support, including remote technical assistance, preparing engineered proposals, and leading training sessions for client teams.

• Provide remote technical support, operational advice, and troubleshooting consultation to client engineers via phone, email, and ticket systems.
• Troubleshoot, replace components, rewrite drive parameters, and execute full functional testing on VFD units.
