Job summary

SCIEX is seeking a skilled scientific trainer to prepare and deliver customer demonstrations of LC/MS products. You will provide on-site training and collaborate with sales to identify growth opportunities, while contributing to product development and scientific outreach.

Ideal candidates have advanced degrees in life sciences and strong data presentation skills, with a track record in method development and LC-MS troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences field.
  • 2+ years of experience with mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography (LC-MS), and other analytical techniques.
  • Strong understanding of method development, validation, and troubleshooting for LC-MS/MS methods.
  • Ability to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven capacity to troubleshoot instrumentation and application-related issues.
  • Experienced with small molecule quantitation on triple quadrupoles.
  • Possess a current driver license with an acceptable driving record.
