Job summary

Illumination Works is seeking a talented software developer to join our Data Engineering Team working on customer-focused applications. Remote work available for US candidates; you will build and maintain software, develop APIs, and leverage Azure AI services to deliver scalable solutions.

You will collaborate in an Agile environment, review security considerations, and mentor teammates. A US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance is required; successful drug test and background screen are

• Build and maintain software applications for our customers

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including AI services and AI Search
• Experience with Git and modern source control workflows
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Understanding of secure, scalable application architecture and modern software engineering best practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Expertise overseeing the performance of applications to ensure they run properly
• Knowledge of implementing solutions to security vulnerabilities
• Teammate collaboration to ensure applications align with customer needs
• Help foster a culture of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking
• Active Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
• Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
