Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking an Application Security Coordinator in New York. The role coordinates outputs from pen tests and vulnerability scans, interprets findings, and drives remediation with cross-functional teams. You will assess risks, prioritize fixes, and communicate security statuses to stakeholders.

Jira is used for tracking remediation and governance across the landscape. Candidates should have 5+ years in application/security roles, strong security knowledge, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in application security or related roles.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security.
• Experience with vulnerability management processes.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Jira-based security reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outcomes from penetration tests and vulnerability scans.
• Review and interpret security findings from technical reports.
• Assess vulnerabilities, evaluate risk and support remediation prioritisation.
• Drive remediation actions with development, infrastructure and security teams.
• Track progress, follow up on findings and ensure timely resolution.
• Establish governance, reporting and visibility around the vulnerability landscape.
• Communicate security risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work with Jira to manage, track and report remediation activities.
