Job summary

Frost Bank in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Application Security Analyst II to help integrate security across the software development lifecycle. You will partner with development teams to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation efforts.

This role requires knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding, risk assessments, and collaboration with Agile/Waterfall teams. 2+ years in security or software development and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Security or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in Software Development, Applications Security, and/or IT Operations with at least 1 year in Application Security.
• Understanding of server-side and client-side security issues.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify application security vulnerabilities and work with development teams to remediate.
• Lead risk assessments and contribute to threat modeling.
• Research tools, technologies, and standards to strengthen application security.
• Recommend policy and procedure improvements for the security program.
• Provide security training for developers and act as an advisor on projects.
