Job summary

Regis Chromatography in Morton Grove, IL seeks a dedicated analytical chemist to develop new applications and create technical content for marketing initiatives. This role also serves as a technical thought leader to promote Regis chromatography products and influence prospective customers.

The candidate will provide pre- and post-sale technical support, identify new market opportunities, and gather voice of customer data to inform future product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or analytical science required; MS or PhD preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of chiral and achiral analytical and preparative HPLC and SFC.
  • Working knowledge of LC/MS is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs to create technical presentations and papers.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements in analytical laboratory setting.

Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or similar analytical science is required. MS or PhD in analytical chemistry is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of chromatography techniques such as chiral and achiral analytical and preparative HPLC and SFC is required. Working knowledge of LC/MS is a plus.
  • Must be familiar with chromatography data collection software associated with HPLC/SFC systems and know how to export data to usable files such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs to create technical presentations and papers.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements in an analytical laboratory setting.
