Job summary

Element Materials Technology in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our laboratory operations and commercial teams. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a testing laboratory environment.
  • Experience in Environmental Testing, Dynamics Testing (Shock & Vibration), or EMI/EMC Testing.
  • Strong understanding of engineering test methods and laboratory operations.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into executable test programs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-facing or proposal development experience preferred.
  • Preferred: experience supporting testing programs to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, RTCA DO-160.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer RFQs and technical requirements
  • Assess testing feasibility and define project scope
  • Develop test plans, schedules, and pricing proposals
  • Estimate labor, equipment, and facility requirements
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to support customer opportunities
  • Help drive revenue growth through accurate technical solutions and proposal development

Responsibilities

Candidates with experience supporting testing programs to standards such as:

  • MIL-STD-810
  • MIL-STD-461
