Jenzabar is seeking an Application Programmer II to join our Programming Services team in the United States. You will work with customers to define requirements, craft technical solutions, and deliver programming, integration, and system updates that meet customer needs.

You will collaborate with colleagues on internal projects while troubleshooting customizations and communicating solutions and best practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years' experience in higher education or accredited college/university.
• Demonstrates organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills in deadline-driven environments.
• Creative, strategic, analytical mindset for technical problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills to explain technical issues.
• Experience with Jenzabar software.

Application Programmer II Full Description

The Application Programmer II is part of our Programming Services team and will work with customers to deliver technical solutions/custom programming to meet customer needs.

The candidate will have the proven ability to work either independently or in a team to achieve results. They will blend their analytical and technical skills to provide creative technical solutions to Jenzabar customers. This role will work with customers to define the requirements and use case, scope the best technical solution, develop the solution and work with the customer to ensure the solution meets their needs. Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues as part of a team on collaborative projects.

Essential Tasks

• Troubleshoot/Update Jenzabar developed local customizations under maintenance
• Work with the customer to communicate the solution to the question or issue
• Prepare requirements / solutions for our Jenzabar customers.
• Consult with customer to discuss the best practices and best solution for request
• Prepare a statement of work
• Collaborate with other Jenzabar Developers on internal projects
• Deliver technical work related to programming, integration and system updates
• Development experience in Boomi, C#, XML, .Net, SQL. REST API calls

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience
• Over 3 years' experience working at an Accredited College/University or in Higher Education Market
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively and independently in an atmosphere of multiple projects, across multiple products
• Must have excellent team building and problem-solving skills with comfortability working in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to be innovative, creative, strategic, analytical, and think outside the box when problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, able to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to non-technical users
• Experience with Jenzabar software

The pay range for this position is $54,000-$68,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for a significant incentive plan as well as a full range of benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
