Overview

Infosys is seeking to hire an Application Production Support Engineer for Production support experience with added knowledge on Java, Python, Pyspark and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Required Skills

• Candidates must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with AWS services (Step Functions, AWS Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, REST APIs, Kafka and other AWS cloud services).
• Knowledge of Python and Pyspark.
• Hands-on experience with any one RDMS SQL technology: SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of any ETL (Informatica, AWS Glue, Talend, etc.) tools.
• Knowledge of job scheduling platforms like Control-M / Autosys.
• CI/CD experience (GitHub and Jenkins) will be an added benefit.
