Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Application Integration Engineer in Washington D.C. This hybrid role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining enterprise data integration pipelines that connect Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform with internal and external systems.

The ideal candidate will work with Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, and Azure integrations on DOJ initiatives. Requires a Top Secret clearance and 8+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, data migration, or systems integration
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power Platform Dataflows, and ETL/ELT solutions
• Strong SQL, data mapping, transformation, and OAuth 2.0/Entra ID familiarity

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data integration and migration pipelines between Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure, and enterprise systems.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes utilizing Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power Platform Dataflows, and Power Automate workflows.
• Design, build, and support REST APIs, web services, and On-Premises Data Gateway connectivity solutions.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across integration platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Application Integration Engineer. This job is located in Washington D.C. and will be Hybrid. The Application Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise data integration pipelines that connect Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform with internal and external systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, Azure integrations, and enterprise data migration initiatives in Washington D.C. supporting a DOJ Program.

REQUIRES A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Responsibilities of the Application Integration Engineer include:

• Design and maintain data integration and migration pipelines between Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure, and enterprise systems.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes utilizing Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power Platform Dataflows, and Power Automate workflows.
• Design, build, and support REST APIs, web services, and On-Premises Data Gateway connectivity solutions.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across integration platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions.

Qualifications for the Application Integration Engineer include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data migration, or systems integration with demonstrated experience integrating Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power Platform Dataflows, Power Automate, and enterprise ETL/ELT solutions.
• Strong experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs, web services, and system-to-system integrations.
• Experience configuring and supporting On-Premises Data Gateway, Dataverse data models, Power Platform security, and role-based access controls.
• Strong SQL expertise, data mapping, transformation, data quality validation, and authentication technologies including OAuth 2.0 and Entra ID.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps, event-driven integrations, and Power Platform ALM practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills; Microsoft certifications (PL-400, PL-600, DP-203, DP-600, AZ-204), ERP/CRM integrations, C#/.NET, PowerShell, Fabric, Synapse Link, and monitoring tools are highly preferred.

Compensation for the Senior Database Administrator include:

• Salary Range: $140,000 - $185,000
