Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is seeking an Application Infrastructure Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of enterprise infrastructure services supporting LLNL applications. This role is in the Enterprise Infrastructure Services Division within the Computing Directorate, supporting the LivIT program.
The position offers a hybrid schedule with some remote work. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and secure scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes,
Application Infrastructure Engineer. You will play a key role in ensuring reliability and performance across our application infrastructure services that support hundreds of enterprise applications for LLNL. This position is in the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) Division within the Computing Directorate, is support of the LivIT program.
Hybrid schedule, blending in-person and virtual presence. Flexibility to work from home one or more days per week.
$175,530 - $222,564 Annually
Career Indefinite position, open to Lab employees and external candidates.
This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance. If you are selected, we will initiate a federal background investigation to determine eligibility for access to classified information. Q‑level clearance requires U.S. citizenship. All L or Q cleared employees are subject to random drug testing.
