Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Experience with lab equipment and design software (oscilloscopes, AutoCAD, ProE, SolidWorks).

POSITION SUMMARYThe Application Engineer Intern will work directly with the Senior Application Engineer, who serves as the primary contact between headquarters, customers, and vendors with respect to engineering and design matters involving SPAL products. In this position, you will act as a technical liaison to the sales team and perform various engineering and technical support duties on multiple projects both new and existing.Some of your responsibilities may include:Product inspection, testing and validation in a lab environmentResearching, collecting, and reporting information on competing productsAiding in the design and development or redesign of products to fulfill the needs of customersUpdating and maintaining engineering filesProduct inspection, testing and validation in a lab environmentDeveloping training programs and supporting literature for the sales, customer service, quality, and technical teams on products, their use, application and functionalityProviding technical support to customersFUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIESSetup testing activities for SPAL product analysis.Outline testing protocols and methods.Blueprint creation for SPAL USA specific product codes using AutoCad.Assist in warranty claim processing and analysis.
