Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. seeks an Application Engineer - Protection for our Charlotte, North Carolina field office to advance power system protection knowledge and SEL product applications.
The role involves visiting customers, delivering demonstrations and training, and contributing to product specifications and testing literature. Occasional travel nationwide is required, with regular on-site work at the Charlotte office.
These full-time positions will be based at SEL’s Charlotte field office located at 901 Center Park Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28217. Because SEL has numerous customers nationwide, some travel is required, as the incumbent will occasionally and on a short-term basis be deployed to various customer sites. Candidates must therefore be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States on an ongoing basis. However, the position requires regular on-site work at the Charlotte field office and does not permit remote work or work-from-home arrangements, notwithstanding any required business travel to customer sites.
