Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of direct manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of automation, tooling and manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read mechanical prints and tolerances accurately.
• Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD CAD software.
• Familiarity with control systems and PLCs.
• Experience supporting sales with technical proposals and cost estimates.
• Propose optimized automation/workflow improvements for efficiency.
• Develop precise equipment and tooling cost projections.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Background in metal forming and stamping is a plus.

• Candidates with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering are preferred.
• A minimum of ten years of direct experience within the manufacturing sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of automation, tooling, and various manufacturing machinery.
• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical prints, technical drawings, and precise dimensional tolerances.
• Hands-on experience utilizing 2D and 3D CAD software, specifically Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Technical familiarity with control systems and PLCs.
• Assist the sales department by contributing to technical proposals and cost estimations to drive business growth.
• Suggest optimal automation and manufacturing workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop accurate cost projections for necessary equipment and tooling.
• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior background in metal forming and stamping processes is considered an asset.
