This is a role for someone who enjoys solving challenging problems, collaborating with smart teammates, and seeing their work make a real-world impact—from research labs and universities to manufacturing, government, and Fortune 500 environments.

What You’ll Do

As an Applications Engineer, you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of modern A/V and visualization solutions:

  • Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for advanced audio/visual and VR systems.

  • Create back-end control system programming that automates and simplifies complex technology environments.

  • Configure, commission, and troubleshoot devices such as touch panels, projectors, audio DSPs, and related A/V components.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to design solutions that meet both technical and user needs.

  • Provide technical support and services to ensure successful system integrations and long-term performance.

  • Travel to client sites to help ensure installed systems are operating at their best and delivering an exceptional user experience.

Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

  • Programming in C# and React + TypeScript.

  • Computer science or related degree, preferably a bachelor’s degree. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working on team-based technical projects.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the persistence to work through challenging technical issues.

  • A sense of ownership and pride in delivering high-quality solutions.

  • Experience interacting with AI tools, especially programming assistants like GitHub, Copilot or Claude Code.

  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, multicast).

  • Prior exposure to A/V systems, control systems, or immersive/visualization environments.

  • Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders on technical solutions.

  • Knowledge of Python, or the motivation to learn.
