Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 2 years of experience in test engineering and applications design.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages listed (ATEasy, C, C++, Python, Visual Basic, Visual C, LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI). Linux a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and learn technical concepts quickly.
• FPGA programming (VHDL/Verilog) is a plus.
• Customer-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and proficiency with MS Excel/Outlook/Word/PowerPoint.
• Self-starter who can grow the role and take on more responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel moderately.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Customer Technical Services and Sales and Marketing teams.
• Operate Test & Measurement instruments.
• Write and debug Automated Test Equipment programs.
• Document customer interactions and training activities.
• Schedule, organize and run product training classes.
• Research Test & Measurement products and solutions.
• Assist in preparation and tracking of demo equipment.
• Contribute to product training, trade shows and software development as needed.

Overview of your day-to-day

• Provide support to Customer Technical Services and Sales and Marketing Organization
• Operate Test & Measurement instruments
• Write and debug Automated Test Equipment programs
• Document customer interactions
• Schedule, organize and run product training classes
• Research Test & Measurement products
• Assist in preparation and tracking of demo equipment
• Additional activities on an as-needed basis to include: assist in product training, trade show assistance, software development, new products testing, etc.

What qualifies you?

• BS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2 years of experience in test engineering and applications design.
• Practical programming skills in one or more of the following languages: ATEasy, C, C++, Python, Visual Basic, Visual C, LabView, or LabWindows/CVI. Linux a plus.
• Ability to learn technical concepts and solve technical problems.
• Ability to read schematics.
• VHDL/Verilog FPGA programming a plus.
• Customer orientated and positive attitude is a must.
• Excellent listening, speaking and writing skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• A self-starter who can follow direction and has a desire to grow the position and accept additional responsibilities.
• Moderate travel.
