Job summary

Qnity Interconnect Solutions (ICS) is seeking a technically adept professional to advance AFT materials and products. You will support planning, prototyping, testing, and customer engagement to drive growth across multiple markets.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Business Development team, hands‑on lab work, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to solve complex challenges and deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or materials field.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and drive business development.
• Ability to take initiative, manage time well and stay results‑oriented.
• Learning agility to adapt to new materials, applications, and processes.
• Excellent English communication and leadership across functions.
• Hands‑on lab experience and practical testing capabilities.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Three+ years designing high‑voltage electric machines preferred.
• Experience in electronics industry preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is a plus.

Qnity Interconnect Solutions (ICS) (formerly a DuPont business) is focused on becoming a preferred partner for customers seeking materials-based solutions to enable market leading technologies utilizing a combination of materials to solve complex challenges in a multi-industrial vertical supply chain ecosystem. Advanced Flexible Technologies (AFT) is a business under ICS. Our broad technology base allows us to address complex performance requirements and offer a wide range of products, including Kapton® and Oasis® polyimide films and Pyralux® flexible circuit materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to project planning, defining technical objectives, and business growth
• Assist in prototyping, lab work, and hands‑on testing of products
• Identify, develop, and deliver solutions that allow AFT to capture value and meet customer needs
• Gain a deep understanding of customer processes and Qnity product and service offerings
• Manage all aspects of the technology processes related to AFT products and services

This position will work closely with the Business Development team to identify and develop new market opportunities and expand our customer base for existing and emerging materials. The successful candidate will support the development, testing, and commercialization of new materials and products, collaborating with internal teams to drive innovation and meet customer needs. This role involves significant customer and external stakeholder interaction, requiring strong communication, relationship‑building, and technical problem‑solving skills to support business growth and product development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electronics
• Demonstrated technical proficiency, ability to build customer relationships and business development experience are essential.
• Ability to use one's initiative, effective time management skills, and result orientation.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of learning agility with the ability to adapt and learn new materials, applications, and processes.
• Excellent communication skills for global communication in English and ability to lead a team of peers (which will often include other functions in Qnity, customer, and OEM personnel) are essential.
• Demonstrated laboratory and hands‑on experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• At least three years' experience in designing high‑voltage electric machines is also preferred.
• Experience in the electronics industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other CRM systems is a plus.

Location & Travel

• We prefer the candidate to be based at the Qnity office in the Circleville Plant, but we will also consider other Qnity offices/locations.
• The candidate will need to have the ability and willingness to travel for business purposes, around 40% of the time.
