Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Technical Application, Design & Compliance specialist in Alpharetta, GA to support HVAC sales with bilingual Korean/English communication, review drawings, and prepare equipment proposals to ensure proper system application.

You will coordinate with HQ, assist in new product introductions, develop technical sales tools, and may travel domestically and internationally to meet project deadlines and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent technical degree.
• Professional fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal) for HQ communication.
• Overtime may be required to support urgent sales projects and deadlines.
• Domestic & international travel required to support field activities and HQ training.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HVAC technical analysis and application support for sales opportunities and projects in the West Region (Alpharetta, GA).

Job Summary

This position supports technical sales and application engineering activities for HVAC products, driving business growth in West Region of the United States through bilingual communication and coordination with HQ. He/She provides daily technical analysis, reviews mechanical drawings, and prepares equipment proposals to ensure proper system application and compliance with design requirements. He/She supports new product introductions and enhances field team effectiveness by diagnosing application issues, creating technical sales tools, and distributing engineering data in collaboration with HQ.

The Opportunity

Technical Application, Design & Compliance

• Provide daily HVAC technical analysis and application support for sales opportunities and project proposals to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction in West Regional (Office Location : Alpharetta, Georgia)
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittal documents to ensure proper equipment application and strict compliance with design requirements.
• Ensure all product applications and system designs strictly adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, includingDOE, AHRI, UL, and local building codes, to guarantee safety and performance compliance.
• Prepare detailed equipment proposals, system selections, and technical recommendations based on specific project conditions and engineering requirements.

Training & Market Education

• Conduct technical seminars and webinars(both virtual and face-to-face) for internal Sales teams, Reps, Engineers, and Contractors to disseminate product knowledge and simplify the application of LG systems.
• Develop and deliver educational content that empowers stakeholders to effectively design and sell LG solutions, ensuring the market is up-to-date on the latest technologies and installation best practices.

HQ Coordination & Reporting

• Provide bilingual (Korean/English) technical communication to facilitate seamless HQ coordination, field support, and resolution of complex customer inquiries.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to HQ, detailing market trends, project status, technical issues, and sales activities.
• Diagnose application issues and coordinate directly with HQ engineering for root?cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities in close collaboration with HQ and subsidiary engineering teams to ensure successful market launches.
• Develop and share estimated equipment quotes with key internal and external stakeholders to support accurate project planning and strategic decision-making.
• Create technical sales tools and application resources to significantly improve sales and field team effectiveness in the market.
• Provide flexible support for sales and project activities, which may requireovertimeto meet critical deadlines, handle urgent inquiries, or support peak business periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or an equivalent technical degree is required.
• Prior experience in the HVAC industry, specifically with technical sales or application engineering, is essential
• Professional fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal) is mandatory for HQ communication.
• This position may require working outside of standard business hours (overtime) to support urgent sales projects and meet strict deadlines
• Domestic & International Travel: Availability for some domestic and international travel is required to support field activities, attend headquarters training, and visit client sites. Travel frequency will vary based on project demands and business requirements

$61,500 — $82,000 USD
