Job summary

The Cigna Group in Atlanta, GA seeks an Application Development Senior Advisor to lead end-to-end full stack development for enterprise-scale applications. The role collaborates with IT and business teams to deliver major projects and provides technical guidance on frameworks, patterns, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any full-stack development role.
• Master’s degree and 3 years of experience accepted.
• Experience with interactive web application development.
• Backend experience including services development.
• Application performance tuning.
• Designing technical solutions using object-oriented concepts and microservice design patterns.
• Designing software for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Cloud based distributed software architecture and design.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Angular, Spring Boot, AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka; SAFe and SCRUM methodologies; test automation frameworks; mocking frameworks.
