Job summary

Node.Digital is seeking an Applications Developer to support a U.S. Government customer in Dulles, VA, focusing on designing, implementing, and integrating secure software solutions, including RESTful APIs, and working with AWS and containerized environments.

The role requires U.S. Citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in application development, with strong communication and collaboration across remote and on-site teams.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of directly relevant experience in applications development.
• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and code versioning/maintenance.
• Experience with assessing and integrating COTS products.
• Familiarity with RESTful architecture and data transformation via code.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and implement software code for end-to-end development.
• Design, develop, enhance, debug, integrate, and implement software.
• Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.
• Research, test, and coordinate integration of new products per user requirements.
• Initiate evaluation for application software packages and testing tools.
• Resolve software problems and suggest improvements.
• Design, develop, and interface with RESTful APIs for web applications.
• Improve development documentation and standards.
• Ensure quality control of developed/modified prototype software.
• Coordinate with teams across locations.
