Castalia Systems is seeking an Application Developer Mid (Foundational Services) to join our Foundational Services team at JBAB, DC. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph and US citizenship, and a hybrid onsite work pattern (2 days/week).

The candidate will develop and support core services, perform training, and assist mid-level teammates. Location is Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC, with emphasis on secure, cross-domain integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant labor category; or 8 years with HS Diploma.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, Node, NestJS, Express, Jest, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, GitLab CI Pipelines, Docker, OpenShift.
• Node.js with TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for classification rollup and NTK handling programmatically.
• Responsible for cross-domain transfer processes (high to low).
• Review server logs and consoles to triage and debug onsite. This is foundational services role that services all EPD applications.

Job Summary

Castalia Systems is seeking an Application Developer Mid (Foundational Services). The Application Developer Mid will serve on our Foundational Services team and provide training/support to the team with other mid level developers.

Roles and Responsibilities

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for classification rollup and NTK handling programmatically
• Responsible for cross-domain transfer processes (high to low)
• Review server logs and consoles to triage and debug onsite. This is foundational services role that services all EPD applications.

Required Qualifications

• Node.js with Typescript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch.

Preferred Qualifications

• JSON, Java, Java Script, SharePoint, XML, VBAs, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, SQL, Open AI, other AI technologies.
• CI Poly.

• Normal office environment.

Salary at Castalia Systems is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, position knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000.00 to $170,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Castalia Systems’ total compensation package for employees.
