Job summary

CACI is seeking an Application Developer - Mid to join a fast-paced Agile team building mission-critical GEOINT applications for NGA. You will work across the full stack, from user-facing features to data services, in a cloud-native environment, collaborating with senior developers and mission stakeholders.

The role requires a BS in CS or related field, 4+ years' experience, and proficiency in Java or Python.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency developing in Java, Python, or both.
  • Experience with modern web application frameworks and development practices.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and Agile development practices.
  • Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with willingness to undergo polygraph examination.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web application features using Java and/or Python.
  • Implement and consume RESTful APIs and service integrations.
  • Develop and enhance GIS-enabled application capabilities and services.
  • Work with relational and non-relational databases to manage structured and unstructured data.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and integration activities.
  • Apply secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Deliver within sprint cycles as part of a cross-functional Agile team.

The Opportunity
  • Build mission-critical GEOINT applications on a fast-paced Agile team supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

  • Develop modern web-based software that enables intelligence analysis and mission execution.

  • Work across the full stack - from user-facing features to data services - in a cloud-native environment.

  • Sharpen your skills alongside senior developers, architects, and mission stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web application features using Java and/or Python.

  • Experience with GIS technologies (ArcGIS,GeoServer,OpenLayers, Cesium, or similar).

  • Familiarity with containerization, cloud, orDevSecOpstooling.

  • Experience operating withinSAFeor Agile delivery frameworks.

  • Experience using geospatial software such as Esri ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Enterprise and related APIs.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300-$129,700
