Job summary

Citi is hiring an Application Developer Low Latency Full Stack Lead for its Pune, India office. The role focuses on designing and delivering ultra-low latency client connectivity solutions across the globe using Java/React and HFT frameworks.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in low latency full stack development, familiarity with FIX/Binary protocols, and experience with micro frontends and DevOps tooling. On-site work with global team collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in low latency full stack development.
• Experience building ultra-low latency platforms is a big plus.
• Experience with microservices/micro frontends architecture is a plus.
• Exposure to client connectivity development and electronic trading is desirable.
• Familiar with FIX/Binary protocols and trading environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD, and GitHub Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Client Connectivity platform for global users.
• Develop low latency solutions using Java/React and HFT framework.
• Ensure business requirements are understood at all delivery levels.
• Apply coding, testing, debugging and implementation standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver connectivity streams end-to-end.
• Collaborate with business, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams.
• Provide post-implementation support and plan new enhancements.
• Lead global development to leverage tools and technologies.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development of Client Connectivity platform to establish best in Class Client connectivity solutions across the globe.
• Development of low latency solutions on Java/React and leveraging HFT Framework.
• Use technical skills to ensure business requirements are understood at all levels of delivery.
• Utilize develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Building relationship with internal and external teams, the successful applicant will be responsible for end to end delivery of prioritized connectivity streams of work.
• Communicate effectively with business, development, QA, infrastructure and production support teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution across development, support and technical business users.
• Establish strong working relationships across different technology areas (QA, Support, etc.).
• Provide ongoing support after implementation, whilst working on new enhancements and additional phases.
• Lead global development team, to ensure that global tools and technologies are leveraged.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Low latency Full Stack Experience
• Knowledge and experience in building ultra-low latency platforms will be a big plus.
• Working experience of Microservices / Micro frontends architecture is a big plus.

• Good exposure to Client connectivity application development
• Good understanding of electronic trading and financial markets
• Experience on FIX/Binary protocols
• Exposure to Open HFT & Chronicle is a big Plus.
• Experience of working in a trading environment
• Good Analytical skills
• Familiar with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and Git Hub Enterprise
