Job description

Client is seeking an experienced Application Developer with a strong background in administering and developing solutions in Siebel CRM (IP17 and above). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siebel eScript and VBScript, and a deep understanding of Siebel architecture, performance tuning, and integrations. This position involves full lifecycle development including custom code development, testing, deployment, and cross-system integrations. You will be part of a collaborative team working on high-impact, mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements documentation in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Design, install, configure, and administer Siebel CRM applications across all environments.
• Write custom code using eScript and VBScript to implement complex business logic.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration and end-to-end testing.
• Perform and support migration activities, including submitting migration documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on connectivity, patching, upgrades, and database-related activities.
• Provide operational support by creating ad-hoc queries and resolving application issues.
• Support Siebel EAI integrations using web services and JMS.
• Maintain application performance through tuning and issue debugging.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Siebel Application Development (IP17 or above).
• Strong proficiency in eScript, VBScript, and Siebel configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Service Request/Activity, Workflows, List of Values, and Attachments.
• Deep understanding of Siebel architecture, including Gateway Server, Enterprise Server, Siebel Server, and Tomcat.
• Experience with Siebel EAI integrations (Web Services, JMSE).
• Ability to install and configure Siebel systems using Oracle databases.
• Experience migrating and deploying Siebel objects across environments.
• Working knowledge of Siebel authentication methods such as LDAP, SSO, and ADSI.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of variable scoping (Global vs Local).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with EDI formats.
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL.
