Job summary

Logix Guru in Pittsburgh is seeking an Application Architect to establish consistency across platforms, standardize implementation practices, and strengthen data and application flows across our portfolio.

You will identify integration gaps and automation opportunities, covering core corporate functions and back-office applications. The role requires experience in both data and application architecture, with cloud and API/integration pattern knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end application architectures and reference architectures.
• Ability to produce data and process flows and solution blueprints.
• Proficiency with diagramming tools (Draw.io, Visio).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience guiding teams through architectural decisions and trade-offs.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and SSIS is a plus.
• Experience with data modeling (conceptual/logical/physical).
• Knowledge of API integration patterns and Java architecture is preferred.
• Understanding of identity management (SSO, SAML).
• Experience in financial domains, governance risks and compliance is preferred.

The Application Architect will help establish consistency across platforms, improve and standardize implementation practices, strengthen database and application flow design and identify integration gaps and automation opportunities across my portfolio. You will cover core corporate functions and back office support, which requires a wide range of applications support and capabilities.

• Ability to design end-to-end application architecture
• Strong knowledge on logical, physical and reference architecture design
• Expertise in creating process flows, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints
• Proficiency with diagramming tools such as Draw.io, Visio or similar
• Ability to align architecture to business capabilities across multiple LOBs
• Strong SQL, SSIS and SQL Server expertise is a plus
• Experience in data modeling, conceptual, logical, and physical is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is preferred
• Knowledge of Java Architecture, API and integration patterns is preferred
• Knowledge of SSO, SAML and identity and access management is preferred
• Understanding of AI/ML solution patterns preferred
• Experience in financial domains, governance risks, and compliance, finance, accounting, HR, and treasury is preferred
• Ability to guide teams through architectural decisions and trade-offs
