Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a hybrid role (3 days onsite weekly) in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. The candidate will design, develop, deploy, and support scalable AI/ML solutions for a global financial institution, focusing on Generative AI, LLMs, and MLOps.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in AI/ML or related fields, strong Python and SQL skills, and hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. This is a 12+ month contract with opportunities to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and production ML deployments.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms, statistics, data processing, and software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy ML models for prediction, recommendation, forecasting, and anomaly detection
• Develop Generative AI solutions using LLMs and implement RAG architectures leveraging vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources
• Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Develop APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications
• Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, responsible AI, and model risk management standards
• Mentor team members and contribute to AI/ML best practices

Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on AI engineer with strong software development skills and experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and MLOps, with the ability to deliver production‑ready AI applications.

Responsibilities

Desired skills

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs (GPT, Llama, Claude), Prompt Engineering, and RAG
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, and MLOps platforms
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Redis Vector DB), large-scale data processing (e.g., Spark), and other data technologies (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB)
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services
• Knowledge of Java or JavaScript
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git and Terraform
