Job summary

SiloSmashers, Inc. is seeking an Application Architect to design, integrate, and modernize mission-critical applications for DHS CISA. The role provides technical leadership, defining architecture standards, ensuring security compliance, and guiding development teams through implementation.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of enterprise software design experience, strong cloud expertise (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov), and certifications such as CISSP or AWS/Azure Architect. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in application design and architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise software design, system integration, and cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov).
• Strong understanding of NIST, DHS, and FedRAMP security frameworks.
• Professional certification (e.g., AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, or equivalent) required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
