Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Application Analyst to support and maintain assigned services and systems within our Information Services team in Chicago. You will monitor upgrades, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with service level agreements.

You will work with the team on on-call rotations, contribute to documentation, and analyze application functionality to improve reliability for current and future needs.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in core discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain assigned services and systems.
  • Monitor, analyze and plan upgrades with the team.
  • Monitor production issue queue and resolve issues per SLA.
  • Execute project tasks as assigned.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards and delivery methodologies.
  • Contribute to end-user requests integration with software functionality.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on application build and functionality.
  • Demonstrate diagnostic skills to assist with problem determination and resolution.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Maintain application/technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain assigned services and systems
  • Works with team to monitor, analyze and plan upgrades
  • Monitors the production issue queue and resolves issues while maintaining our Customer Service Level Agreements.
  • Executes project tasks as assigned
  • Adheres to and enhances quality assurance standards, systems development and delivery methodologies.
  • Contributes to ongoing process to integrate end users requests with software functionality.
  • Analyzes and provides recommendations relating to application build and functionality of systems to ensure reliability for current and / or future use.
  • Demonstrates diagnostic skills and expertise to assist with problem determination and solution across the assigned NMHC distributed system IS environment.
  • Participates in on call rotation
  • Contributes to the maintenance of application/technical documentation and architecture diagrams
