Job summary

Western Trailers in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Application Analyst to support, maintain, and improve the business applications used across the organization. This fully on-site role requires hands-on management of core systems and collaboration with IT, operations, and vendors.

You will translate business needs into practical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure our systems stay reliable, secure, and aligned with goals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required.
• Experience with manufacturing, finance, inventory, purchasing, or other operational functions within Business Central is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other assigned business applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and manage their escalation and resolution.
• Gather and document business requirements, workflows, user needs, and system-enhancement requests.
• Configure, test, and support application updates, integrations, patches, and new-feature rollouts.
• Support Business Central functions related to finance, purchasing, inventory, reporting, and business operations.
• Analyze application performance, data quality, user adoption, and process efficiency.
• Work with software vendors and internal teams to resolve defects and coordinate upgrades.

Job description

This is a fully on-site position located in Boise, Idaho. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. The pay range is $25.00-$32.00 per hour, DOE.

Western Trailers is seeking an experienced Application Analyst to support, maintain, and improve the business applications used throughout our organization.

This role will serve as the connection between employees, department leaders, IT, software vendors, and executive leadership. The Application Analyst will translate operational needs into practical system solutions, troubleshoot application issues, improve workflows, support reporting needs, and help ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required for this position. Experience with manufacturing, finance, inventory, purchasing, or other operational functions within Business Central is strongly preferred.
