Job summary

The Talent Mine is hiring an Application Analyst with a solid foundation in AI tools to join a Fortune 500 industrial leader. This on-site role bridges non-technical floor users with business and technical leaders to design, build, and deploy modern platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will partner directly with stakeholders across manufacturing and engineering teams, delivering end-to-end solutions with emphasis on rapid deployment and real-world impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical role with AI skills.
• Strong scripting skills and at least one AI platform (Claude, ChatGP, Gemini, etc).
• Track record of designing and deploying production applications, integrations, and data/AI solutions end-to-end. This includes pipelines and operationalization.
• Solid grasp of enterprise systems, APIs, and data flows.
• Proven success partnering with non-technical stakeholders: running discovery, presenting findings to teammates up to the executive level and driving adoption.
• A humble, 'get it done' project ownership mindset. You love working in a team first environment and see your ideas to completion.
• You are an exceptional communicator and team builder. You know how to build trust quickly with stakeholders of all backgrounds catered to their needs.

Responsibilities

The Talent Mine is hiring an Application Analyst with a solid foundation in AI tools to join a Fortune 500 industrial leader. They are North America's largest recycler and a top name in sustainable steel manufacturing, known for exceptional employee investment and long-term stability.

If you're an up-and-coming Application Analyst that enjoys being a bridge between non-technical users on a manufacturing floor, to the business and technical leaders of an organization, read on.

The Role:

You'll partner directly with business stakeholders, manufacturing teams and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy advanced technical solutions that solve real business problems. This is a high-visibility, embedded role blending strong engineering chops, systems thinking, and business partnership with a focus on fast, feasible deployment of modern platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities (not long-term product ownership).

Expect up to 25% travel to support cross-site benchmarking, knowledge-sharing, and internal development. Most of the work will be on site in a manufacturing environment. Be prepared to enjoy wearing a hard hat, steel toed boots, and full PPE.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years in a technical role (Solutions Engineer, Systems Analyst, Technical Consultant, or Application Analyst with AI skills)
• Strong scripting skills plus at least one additional AI platform (Claude, ChatGP, Gemini, etc)
• Track record of designing and deploying production applications, integrations, and data/AI solutions end-to-end. This includes pipelines and operationalization.
• Solid grasp of enterprise systems, APIs, and data flows

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, model evaluation, or agent-based workflows
• Background in enterprise IT with complex, integrated systems
• Experience partnering with external vendors/solution providers
• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or other enterprise domains

Required:

Must be legally authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available now or in the future) and able to pass both a criminal background check and drug screen. These roles are 100% onsite with no possibility for remote work.

Compensation:

TOTAL COMPENSATION = $157,000-$186,000 broken down as follows:

• Base salary range – $120-$140k
• Annual bonus of 23-33% over the past 5 years!
