GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to join the Bodewell team in the Phoenix area. You will diagnose in-home repairs, advise on cost-effective solutions, and promote service contracts while representing a trusted brand.

Responsibilities include operating a service van, documenting repairs, and participating in ongoing technical training to stay ahead of evolving appliances.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Create accurate repair documentation and maintain vehicle records.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain industry knowledge.

Competitive hourly rates: $23 – $33+ base, depending on experience, certifications, and location.

How You’ll Create Possibilities

As a Bodewell Appliance Care Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and completing in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances
• Using sound judgment to recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs, prioritizing repairs whenever practical.
• Promoting and selling service contracts, water filters, and related products/appliances as appropriate, always focusing on value-driven solutions and the best customer experience
• Operating an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations
• Accurately documenting repairs, routes, and work activities
• Participating in training sessions, meetings, and events to maintain industry expertise
• Managing inventory and maintenance of your service vehicle
