Job summary

Temco Logistics is seeking a dependable Driver and Appliance Installer to join our team. The role delivers and installs household appliances at residential and commercial sites, operating a 26 ft box truck and providing exceptional customer service.

You will load, deliver, install, and test appliances, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate records using mobile devices. Prior box truck experience is preferred but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs with proper equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles preferred
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical is a plus
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical
• Valid Driver's License with current for-hire endorsement

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.
