Job summary

Temco Logistics is expanding in Hartford, CT and seeks motivated individuals to drive, install, and support home appliance deliveries. Responsibilities include operating a 26 ft box truck, loading and installing appliances, and delivering excellent customer service. Safety and accuracy in records are emphasized.

Applicants should be 21+, able to lift 100+ lbs, and comfortable with GPS apps. Experience with box trucks is preferred, and basic plumbing/electrical skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Able to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.
