Job summary

R.A.S. Logistics in Port Allen, LA seeks independent contractor owner-operators to deliver appliances and home goods with a 26' box truck. You’ll work as a driver plus helper, maintain required DOT/MC credentials, and maintain business insurance. Compensation is $750/day.

Qualifications

• Registered business entity (LLC or corporation).
• Active USDOT number and MC authority.
• 26' box truck with liftgate (owned or leased).
• Two-person team: driver and helper.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record (no CDL required).
• Appliance delivery and installation experience.
• Delivery and installation tools.
• Required insurance: auto liability, general liability, cargo, and workers' compensation.
• Ability to meet onboarding and qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver appliances and home goods to customer homes.
• Perform basic appliance installation.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service in the home.
• Complete vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork.
