Dubucea Appliance (sic Dubuque Appliance) is seeking a talented Appliance Installer to join our team in Dubuque, IA. You will handle the delivery and installation of household appliances and be responsible for troubleshooting and time management to meet deadlines.

The role involves installing a range of appliances, maintaining fuel and equipment, and completing paperwork for routes and invoices. A physical ability to lift heavy items and pass a DOT physical is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds and perform strenuous work.
• No major driving violations in the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Install home appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, etc.
• Drive a delivery vehicle. No CDL required. Will need to perform a DOT physical.
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.
• Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to meet deadlines effectively. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.

• Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicles and equipment properly serviced
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
• Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross-training in related positions
• Drive a delivery vehicle. No CDL required. Will need to perform a DOT physical

• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
