Job summary

Groundswell is seeking experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultants to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and act as trusted advisors to our clients. You will design and integrate cutting-edge Appian solutions into client architectures and mentor delivery teams on best practices for scalable, efficient delivery.

The role demands 3+ years of Appian experience, 5+ years IT, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
• 5+ years of related IT experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification.
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
• Strong technical design and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and written; active listening and strategic foresight.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
• Preference for candidates local to the DC Metro area.
• Must be willing to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed.

What You'll do:

Groundswell is looking for experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultants to provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. Senior Appian Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture. Architects mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a \"do whatever it takes attitude\")


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance


• Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro area


• Must be willing to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed.

Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required:

• Appian


• RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)


• Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)

Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS:

• Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)


• Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)


• Data management and data visualization/BI


• DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management


• Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
