Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) seeks an Intermediate Appian Developer to plan, configure, develop, and maintain Appian applications across classified and unclassified domains. Working under the Appian lead, you will build models, interfaces, records, reports, and integrations that automate workflows and provide leaders with timely information.

Role requires at least 3 years of Appian experience, TS clearance, and familiarity with DoD IL5/IL6 environments.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Appian process flow design, including Smart Services, gateways, sub-processes, and exception handling.
• Ability to design intuitive, responsive SAIL interfaces.
• Proficiency with Appian Records (Data Fabric), entity relationships, and dashboards.
• Ability to design relational database schemas (SQL, MariaDB, or Oracle) and map them to CDTs.
• Strong understanding of JSON and Connected Systems via Web APIs.
• Familiarity with DoD IL5/IL6 environments and governance.
• Knowledge of DAF security, CUI/PII handling, and row-level security.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and maintain Appian sites, interfaces, records, components, and objects.
• Build and maintain process models, gateways, sub-processes, and exception handling.
• Develop responsive SAIL interfaces for desktop and mobile users.
• Configure Appian Records and build reports and dashboards.
• Create and update CDTs and DB objects in SQL, MariaDB, or Oracle.
• Configure integrations via Web APIs and parse JSON outputs.
• Apply row-level security and handle CUI/PII per security standards.
• Translate stakeholder needs into user stories and technical tasks.
• Perform testing, support UAT, and fix defects.
• Document configurations, participate in peer reviews, and manage changes.
