Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
• 2+ years of related IT experience; active Appian Senior or Lead certifications preferred.
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly; active listening and analytical foresight.
• Strong organizational skills, detail‑oriented, able to work in fast-paced environment; team-oriented with a can‑do attitude.
• US Citizenship required; preference for candidates local to the DC Metro area; 0-15% travel may be required.

What You'll do:

Groundswell is looking for an experiencedtechnical Appian Consultant to provide hands‑on Appian implementation on our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. Technical Appian Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting‑edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture. Technical Appian Consultants deliver on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.

What You'll Be Working On

Required Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high‑paced environment, multi‑task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team‑building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes attitude")
• US Citizenship required
• Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
• Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%)

Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required:

• Appian
• RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)
• Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)

Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS:

• Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
• Data management and data visualization/BI
• DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management
• Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
