What You’ll Do

Groundswell is looking for an experienced technical Appian Consultant to provide hands-on Appian implementation on our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. You will help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and by designing and integrating Appian solutions into our clients’ architecture. You will contribute to best practices for advanced technical solutions, platform design, and implement internal processes and tools to improve business efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Implement complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies
• Hands-on design, development, and test activities
• Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to drive technical success
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
• Drive process improvement for our clients
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
• 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions
• 2+ years of related IT experience
• Preference given to candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing; active listening skills; analytical and strategic foresight
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task, and work independently and as part of a team
• US Citizenship required
• Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
• Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%)

• Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $98,855.00 - $138,979.00
