About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Appian Developer to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. As an Appian Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing robust business process management (BPM) solutions on the Appian platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into efficient and scalable Appian applications, contributing significantly to our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Appian Solution Development

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade applications and workflows using the Appian low-code platform.
• Craft intricate user interfaces (UIs) and forms using Appian SAIL (Sailian Abstract Interface Language) to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience.
• Develop and optimize complex Appian Process Models, including smart services, integrations, and exception handling.

Data & Integration Management

• Design and develop Appian Records, Reports, and Sites to provide comprehensive data visibility and portal solutions.
• Integrate Appian applications with various external systems and databases using RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Perform SQL development, data modeling, and database optimization to support Appian applications effectively.

Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within Appian applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Identify and implement best practices for Appian development, performance tuning, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for Appian applications and integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing solutions on the Appian platform.
• Proven proficiency in Appian SAIL for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing Appian Process Models, including complex workflows and smart services.
• Demonstrated experience with Appian Records, Reports, and Sites for data presentation and user portals.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with RESTful and SOAP web service integrations.
• Proficient in SQL for querying databases, data manipulation, and data modeling concepts.
• Solid experience working within Agile and/or SAFe development methodologies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Appian Certified Developer (Level I and/or Level II).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Appian applications.
